The Superior Court of Justice in Ontario appoints select senior family lawyer to hear Conferences in the family court.  These conferences are mandatory for Motions to Change and voluntary in other cases.  Please see the Family Law Rules and directions from the court which can be found on the court's website (www.ontariocourts.ca/scj/).
